- Gameplay changes:
- Splitscreen for PvP mode
- new Camera System
- many new Soundeffects including alert sounds in PvP
- Teleporting a ball now requires more precise aiming (no longer teleports a ball for just touching the teleport Trigger.
- Singleplayer: Ghostballs can now be converted to a normal ball in singleplayer by succesfully hitting the ramp and dropping the ghostball down towards the left trigger
- PvP: Now respawns all of the player's remaining lives as ghost balls if there are no balls left on their field
- New left and right player shader VFX on Scoreable Object hits
- More VFX
- Triangle bumpers now also give a small ammount of score points
- Floor Material changed to glass for improved ball visibility. Potentially will be changed again in a future release.
- Removed:
- Endless Mode has been removed as it was only implemented as a testing ground and a sort of "tutorial" but never truly fleshed out or tested during further development
- Multiplayer functionality will soon be removed as it has not been worked on. (Hopefully it will be reintroduced into the future when there is more time to properly implement and test it)
- All music has been changed to the PvP Mode Music
- Bugfixes:
- Glass Dome shards no longer collide with the ball, They also now break off into space.
- Gameover screen in singleplayer no longer says right player won
- Correct Endgame message regarding which player won the game
- Pressing Space while already playing no longer resets player HP (allowing the player to cheat - oops)
- Cyberfrog now correctly gets rendered by the camera
- Cyberfrog is no longer able to score points for the player by colliding with scoreable objects
- added checks for singleplayer to a lot of stuff in order to ensure nothing blows up
- game no longer ends when there is a ball in the nephentes plant but the player has no other balls on the field
